Privacy Policy

This policy covers quantechit.com and the information you send us through it. "Quantech IT", "we" and "us" mean Quantech IT, LLC. If you have a question about anything here, email mick@quantechit.com.

What we collect

What you type into a form

The contact form on the homepage and the fit-call form at /book ask for your name and email (required), and optionally your company, phone number, the tools you use, and a message. Each form also has an unticked box you can check to let us text you about your inquiry. We receive exactly what you enter.

How you found us

If you arrive from a link that carries campaign tags (the utm_ parameters) or a Google Ads click ID (gclid), your browser holds those values in session storage until you close the tab. If you submit a form during that visit, they are sent along with it so we can tell which ad or campaign brought the inquiry in. Nothing is stored if you arrive without them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, see which pages are read, and record when a form is submitted. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard browser information such as approximate location, device type, pages viewed and the referring site. We use these reports in aggregate; we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Server and delivery logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to serve pages and block abusive traffic. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and schedule a fit call if you asked for one.
• To keep a record of the conversation and any work we quote or do for you.
• To send a first reply by email, and by text if you checked the box, shortly after you submit a form.
• To understand which pages, campaigns and ads bring in inquiries, so we can spend less on the ones that don't.

If you give us a phone number, we use it only to contact you about your inquiry or project. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Text messages

We text you only if you check the consent box on a form. Texts are about your inquiry or project, such as a reply to your message or scheduling a call. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Leaving the box unchecked does not affect anything else: we will still reply by email.

Your mobile number and text-messaging consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. They are used only by us and by the service that sends our texts on our behalf.

Who else handles it

A form submission passes through a small number of services that do the work on our behalf. Each receives only what it needs to do its part.

• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the code that receives form submissions.
• Resend delivers the submission to our inbox by email.
• Modal runs the automation that processes each inquiry and sends our first reply.
• HubSpot is our CRM, where your contact details and inquiry are recorded.
• ClickUp is where we track follow-up calls and client work.
• Anthropic (Claude) helps draft our first reply, so the details of your inquiry are sent to it for that purpose.
• Quo sends text messages, only if you agreed to receive them.
• Google provides email (Gmail), analytics, ad measurement and web fonts.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.

Client accounts and data

When we do paid work, you give us collaborator or user access to your own tools: your CRM, forms, email platform and so on. While we have that access we can see the data in them, including your customers' contact details. We use that access only to do the work in your written quote. We do not copy your customer data out of your systems except where a task needs it (for example, a sample record to test a fix), and we delete those copies when the job is done. You can remove our access at any time, and we recommend you do once a project is handed off unless we are maintaining it for you.

For that client data, you are in control of it and we are working on your instructions. If your business has its own privacy obligations to your customers, tell us about them before we start.

How long we keep it

Inquiries and project records are kept for as long as they are useful for an ongoing conversation or client relationship, and for tax and business records afterward. If you never became a client and ask us to delete your inquiry, we will. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Analytics account and then deleted automatically.

Your choices

• See, correct or delete your information. Email mick@quantechit.com and we will reply within one business day and complete the request within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, and we will tell you if so.
• Opt out of analytics. You can block cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
• Ad personalization. You can manage how Google uses your activity for ads at Google's ad settings.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are sent over encrypted connections, and only Quantech IT can sign in to the accounts that hold your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the same care with your information that we would ask you to take with your customers'.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or who we share it with changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will not be applied to information collected before them without your agreement.
